The two-dimensional measuring instrument, also known as the image measuring instrument, is a non-contact optical measuring machine used to measure the two-dimensional plane size of the product, so the data of the two-dimensional measurement is generally in the plane. However, some products are special. In addition to measuring the size in the two-dimensional plane, it is also necessary to measure the height of the product. The answer is yes, two-dimensional height measurement is not a new topic in the industry. We generally call this type of two-dimensional height measurement 2.5D or 2.5-dimensional. 1. Image altimetry

Add an altimetry module to the software of the two-dimensional two-dimensional measuring instrument, and use the focal length to adjust a plane clearly; then find another plane; the difference between the two planes is the height to be detected. The systematic error can be controlled within 5 microns. (The premise is that the two-dimensional measuring instrument needs to install a grating ruler in the Z-axis direction, and the measurable height is related to the Z-axis liftable height and the focal length of the lens)

2. Contact height measurement

Install the probe on the Z axis; use the contact method to directly measure the results, this method also has to add a module to the software of the two-dimensional image measuring instrument. (The probe is controlled by the operating handle, and the measurable height is related to the height of the Z axis)

Measurement accuracy: 0.003mm
